Welcome to Votari. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our platform. By accessing or using Votari, you agree to these terms.
About Votari

Votari provides a decentralized voting platform. Organizers can set up elections and voters can participate, with votes anchored on the Bitcoin SV blockchain. Identity checks and vote construction are handled locally on your device — not on Votari servers.

Eligibility

  • Anyone can create an election on Votari for personal, community, or organizational use.
  • Formal elections (e.g., corporate governance, union, government) must comply with applicable laws.
  • Voters must meet the eligibility rules set by the organizer.

Use of the Service

  • Organizers create election rules and distribute ballots through the Votari app.
  • Voters register and cast votes using their own devices.
  • You agree not to misuse the platform(e.g., tampering, impersonation, interference).

Fees

  • Votari offers transparent tiers (e.g., free up to 10 ballots; paid tiers for larger elections).
  • Purchases are made directly within the app.
  • Fees are non-refundable unless required by law.

Privacy

  • Votari never stores raw identity data on servers.

  • Passport and biometric verification happens only on your device.
  • Blockchain transactions are public and immutable but contain no personal identifiers.
  • Full details are explained in the Privacy Policy.

Security & Blockchain

  • Votes are committed to the Bitcoin SV blockchain and cannot be altered once published.
  • Votari provides tools for secure election setup but cannot undo or remove votes once cast.
  • You acknowledge inherent blockchain risks (e.g., outages, fees).

Intellectual Property

  • Votari, its brand, and platform are owned by Votari Ltd.

  • You may not copy, modify, or distribute our software without permission.
  • Organizers retain ownership of their election content (titles, descriptions, candidate info).

Limitation of Liability

  • Votari provides the service 'as is'.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free performance, or suitability for every jurisdiction.
  • To the fullest extent allowed by law, Votari is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
  • Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to a claim.

Termination

  • We may suspend or restrict access if you breach these terms or misuse the platform.

Governing Law

  • These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
  • Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.
